Product Overview
The D-Fend+ Water Trap is designed to protect the respiratory measurement system from viruses, water, mucus and bacterial contaminants, which can harm the gas module and affect measurement accuracy. The sampled gases are transported from the patient into the D-Fend+ water trap. The D-Fend+ water trap contains a GORE-TEX® membrane which prevents water or bacteria passing the water trap simultaneously. Condensed water is collected in a water container, which can be emptied.
