Product Overview
The covers are generally used to protect the equipment from the surroundings. The port cover is used to close the port in the porthole area. The material is Acetal which has high stiffness and ease of machining. All burs and sharp edges are removed. Ejector pin marks are to be flush ± 0.010 and the gate to be flush ± 0.02. The cover port finish is obtained as per SPI-D2. SPI (Society of Plastic Industry) is the surface finish standards where D2 contains up to 240 Aluminum Oxide from sandblasting. The color light gray is obtained either by PMS Cool Gray 1 or by two layers paint. Two layers paint consist of Layer 1 - Off-White color (10:1 ratio white 000/black 100) and layer 2 - Off-White color (45:0.4, 0.6, 0.1 ratio white 000/black 100/yellow PMS 7406 / Red PMS 199). The cover and hinge come as a part of UL Voluson P8, Giraffe™ Carestation Incubator, MIC Panda™ iRES Warmer, Modular, MIC Giraffe™ OmniBed, ARC Aespire View and MIC - Other Infant Care.
